The Moderate Party of Rhode Island announces the formation of
17 new Moderate Party Town and City Committees as grass roots activism grows.
Warwick, RI - The Moderate Party of Rhode Island (MPRI) announces their continued success in outreach to voters across the state with the formation of 17 Moderate Party Town Committees. As support for the Moderate Party's platform of focusing on the Four E's - Economy, Education, Ethics, and Environment - grows, members have formed local committees to take that message to their family, friends and neighbors.

Christine Hunsinger, Executive Director of the MPRI stated, "We're excited to have these committees up and running. Town and City Committees are an essential part of our organization when it comes to fundraising and getting our message out. In the 2010 election, these committees will provide an incredible amount of support to the Party and our candidates.

The MPRI is, at its heart, a grassroots movement. Having people in each community that are willing to stop and take the time to talk with their family, friends and neighbors about the Moderate Party's positive message and platform is one of the most important tools we can have. The formation of these Town Committees is just the beginning of what our supporters are doing to organize and hit the streets.

On top of our success at collecting 34,000 signatures, the excitement and eagerness of our Town and City Committee members to serve is a reaffirmation that the MPRI's message is resonating with voters.

The Town Committees that have filed with the Secretary of State's Office include Barrington, Bristol, Burrillville, Coventry, Cumberland, Cranston, East Greenwich, Foster, Glocester, Jamestown, Lincoln, Narragansett, North Kingstown, Providence, Scituate, Warwick and West Warwick.

The MPRI will announce the formation of other committees by the end of November.
